Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

Ghost Monitor (the “Service”) helps you archive your incoming Telegram messages and recover ones that are deleted, edited, or sent as view-once. This policy explains what data we process and how.

1. Information we process

2. How we use it

Your data is used solely to detect and recover deleted, edited, and one-time messages and to deliver them to you through our Telegram bot. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

3. Where data is stored

Backups (a SQLite database) and media are stored in your own Google Drive if you connect it, or in the Service’s shared storage otherwise. Recovery alerts are delivered only to you, in your Telegram.

4. Data retention

You control how long media is kept (a few days by default). You can unlink your account at any time, which stops monitoring and removes the stored session.

5. Your choices

You can unlink Telegram, disconnect Google Drive, change what is captured, or request deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Security

Data in transit is protected with TLS. Access is scoped to what is needed, and alerts are sent only to you.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on Telegram and Google (Google Drive) infrastructure. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, contact the Service administrator.
